The Bolus
She compulsively packed more-more-more food into her mouth so she could say check please earlier than planned—chewing the food was easy and streamline at first but quickly became intolerably difficult and painful—her cheeks were bloated as risen dough—chewed and unchewed food began falling out of her mouth as though her mouth was incontinent—the mass of food could no longer be called a bolus—it could not be called vomit either.
